District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) is a district level apex organization for imparting training programs for the teachers. This District level institute carries out designing and executing various training programs for quality education. It also revises curriculum and syllabus based on the need of the society. It is the academic authority for the implementation of Right to education (RTE) act at various levels within the district. It promotes co-ordination and linkages amongst schools, colleges and various other institutes involved in Teacher Education and Training. The facilitates of DIET promote the professional skills of various stakeholders of education. It offers academic support to other agencies in organizing training programs for teachers, administers and trainers. It also organizes evaluation programs on text books, teaching methodology, infrastructure, administration, etc. It also undertakes research activities in the field of schools from primary to higher secondary level and teacher training to impart quality education to all.
