Action Research
Action Research in teacher training involves a cyclical process where teacher trainees identify a problem in their teaching practice, plan and implement a strategy to address it, observe and collect data on its effectiveness, reflect on the results, and then revise their approach. This process fosters continuous professional development, contextualized learning, and improved student outcomes. By integrating Action Research into teacher training programs, trainees are empowered to take ownership of their professional growth, collaborate with peers, and continually refine their teaching methods based on real-world challenges and evidence-based practices.
