We live in a fast growing and technological world. Rapid changes are happening all the time. Hence teachers need variety of skill to be sucessful in teaching. Teachers have to gather and update all the information going on around the world. Instead of repeating old ideas they should have acess to the latest information besides their academic skills.
This will helpthe teacher to produce creative children and active youths in the class room. To carry out this task the teachers have to be well versed in communication skill, team work, problem solving, critical thinking etc.,
The people in a country are moulded by the teachers and in turn the teachers are shaped by teacher educators in the teacher educational institutions like DIETs.
